The function and working principle of ship self-unloading system
To continuously transport materials in the cargo hold to the outboard dock, the ship's self-unloading system must have the four functions of collecting, lifting, feeding and conveying.
Aggregate:
The function of placing materials in the cabin into the unloading system in an orderly manner. Aggregation methods can be divided into two types: gravity self-flow type and mechanical type.
The gravity self-flow type uses the self-weight and fluidity of the material. The cargo compartment is made into a V shape and a bucket door is used to control the material flow according to its opening. The bucket door can be driven by electric or hydraulic pressure. This method of collecting materials has a simple and reliable structure. As long as the appropriate material tank is selected The inclination angle adopts a polymer flow-aiding plate and is equipped with a vibrator to ensure the flow of materials and meet the requirements of gravity aggregates.
Mechanical aggregates commonly use scraper aggregates, usually with one longitudinal and one transverse scraper in a cargo hold. In addition, chain bucket machines, bucket wheel machines, and grab cranes also have aggregate functions.
Promote:
To transport materials overboard, the self-unloading system should have the function of lifting materials from the cargo hold to a height where they can be transported overboard. Commonly used lifting methods include belt conveyor and mechanical type.
There are three types of belt conveyor lifting: inclined belt conveyor lifting, C-type belt conveyor lifting and corrugated belt conveyor lifting;
There are four types of mechanical lifting: chain bucket machine lifting, screw conveyor lifting, bucket wheel machine lifting and grab crane lifting.
Feeding:
The function of transporting materials that have been lifted to a certain height to the outside of the ship. There are two feeding methods: feeding arm conveyor feeding and shuttle conveyor feeding.
The feeding arm conveyor mainly unloads materials from the ship to the shore through the feeding arm conveyor that can rotate and luff. The general arm length is 20m~80m;
Shuttle conveyor feeding is to install a shuttle belt conveyor at the bow or stern of the ship to unload goods overboard, but its application is limited by the ship-shore connection method.
Delivery:
The function is to transport the materials in each cargo hold in an orderly manner. Generally, the belt conveyor method is used.
